You will find a short history of Annville here.
An active civic group, The Friends of Old Annville, maintains an electronic archive preserving historic pictures and memories. The archive consists of more than 25,000 images and documents collected by the Friends of Old Annville since the 1970s.
A significant portion of the information in the Archive comes to the Friends from life-long Annville resident Doris Flory, who spent decades researching properties and families in Annville. “Flory Notes” incorporate information from U.S. Censuses, local newspaper clippings, land transfer records, deeds, and other sources. This information—along with thousands of historic pictures and articles donated by members of the Annville community—has been scanned and organized by address, family name, and business, among other categories within the archive.
You will find details for accessing the archive here.
