- Building Permit – Required when placing a new structure on your property, such as a new house, a house addition, a garage or carport, a shed, a pool. Permits are required for fences but not for general maintenance such as roof or window replacement (as long as the original structure is not changing shape), or inside remodeling. - Curb or Sidewalk Permit – Contact Annville Town Hall at 717-867-4476.
- Dumpster Permit – If you need to place a dumpster at your property for a short period of time, you will need to contact the Annville Town Hall and obtain a Dumpster Permit if it needs to be in the street. This permit is only good for a limited time, but there is no charge. Call 717-867-2711 or click here for more information.
- Peddlers/Solicitor Permit – Required for anyone going door to door to talk to the resident regarding a product or a service. Approval must be obtained from Annville Town Hall before the permit will be issued. Call 717-867-4476 to obtain additional information.
- Street Cut Permit – Required whenever work is being performed in the street or township right-of-way that required opening the roadway. These permits are mostly issued to utility companies (gas, phone, cable, electric) to install new service, cut off service or perform necessary maintenance. - Plumbing Permit – Homeowners, or their contracted plumber, that needs to tap onto an existing sewer line, make repairs to a sewer lateral, or install new plumbing within their home will need to obtain a plumbing permit. It is always best to check with your contractor to see who is responsible for obtaining the permit.
